Daniel Vaughn TX Monthly Article on my hometown BBQ joint Warehouse BBQ Meetery in Burnet. I fully expect them to make the next TX Monthly Top 50. Their BBQ is 100% Top 20 caliber in the State. Plus good people that run and own it.

Has anyone been to Tejano Smokers in Georgetown? Thoughts? Any recommendations aside from the usual?
Been a bunch of times and will eat there when I'm in Georgetown and want BBQ. It's pretty good BBQ. I always get the moist brisket, Turkey, sausage & ribs there.
We visited 225 on Thursday and the tacos are worth the trip.Beef Cheek said:

Street corn was also good. I didn't order enough of a variety and will have to return.
Rumor has it he's got a new 1000 gallon on order too..
I really want a bigger pit but have no place for it...

Damn that boudin looks awesome! Little too much fat for me on brisket, but if I was charging by the pound then I would probably do the same.

When I had it, it wasn't that great either. I think Truth is a little overrated. Every time I've been, it's been good, but nothing special.

To me Pit Room at its best is as good as Truth a good amount of the time and impressive since served all day.

Let's keep the discussion to TM Top 50, Honorable Mentions list, and possible new places that we feel might be on the 2024 list.
Disko has made his case for his friends at Fire Craft, and folks have chastised him for his pictures.
Let's not throw any more shade their way until a couple of us have at least tried their BBQ and can give a more objective assessment.
We don't need to ruin an otherwise great thread.

But if we're being honest BBQ is one of those foods you can definitely tell quality by how it looks.

The three pickle slices are a little over the top.
In all it was $65 including the bologna slice and a coke
Must have just missed Saxsoon! 1.55 lb Wagyu Ribeye for $55.80 felt like a steal and will have plenty of leftovers. Still eating but it's outstanding.

Looks great. Is that boudin with the crackers? What kind of sausage? It looks good too.

The side is what they are calling dirty rice and it's basically just their boudin stuffing with crackers. Though they told me they want to add more rice to it to make it like more traditional dirty rice but it's really good as is.
Sausage is their original mild. It's fine but not my favorite but girlfriend picked it out. I usually get the hatch Chile and cheese.

I went in not knowing what to expect but found it very good overall.
