I'd love to know the 50 BBQ restaurants you would put ahead of Hutchins. They have always been fantastic when I've been there
Well put. I'd also elaborate and say it depends on what people like in bbq. Some people prefer ribs, others brisket, etc. Some like a heavy hand on the pepper, other's are all about the sauce. It's fairly unreasonable to believe that one bbq place is going to be the best in every meat, let alone that they are going to cater to everyone's individual preferences for those meats.AggieFabricator said:
I don't have a issue with lists, but I'll say that bbq is kind of subjective. Any place that made this years top 50 probably could of made top 10 of the last list. Joe Rogan actually made the point on his podcast, there's good bbq, and then there's just holy **** bbq, and he's kind of right, there's a lot of holy **** bbq being served all over the state. There are places that made the last top 10 I wouldn't go back to again after trying, and there are places that didn't make this years top 10 that I'd say are in my top 3. It's kind of splitting hairs.

Also, there are times I eat so much bbq, I leave thinking, "I'm going to wait a few months until I do that again."
This was one of those times.

Heim BBQ by Love Field is also very good in the convenience but still good quality category.
