Toronto should absolutely lose to see if they can avoid Baltimore and Tampa. That looks like a brutal path compared to Minnesota and Texas.

"There is no winner here"
Well actually…. Astros won the silver boot 9-4 and are in first place.
Can that be traded in for a playoff spot?

Enjoy another series loss. Y'all stay healthy. I don't want any excuses when we win the division. AGAIN.
Y'all have already used up all those excuses
What excuse? I just told you we're winning the division.
You can't be this dense…
I don't make excuses. I make promises.

Regardless of who you root for between the Astros and rangers…. We can all agree this was a great sports day with the Aggies winning on top of both our teams clinching
I just hope we get good games tomorrow. I would hate to see the D-backs or Mariners mail it in because they have nothing to play for tomorrow. You can usually count on teams to always play to win, but Scott Servais is such a grade A POS that I wouldn't put it past him to tank the game out of spite. It'd be a shame for the Rangers division title to be stained like that. Let's just get some good baseball and let the chips fall where they may.

This begs the question. Do the Rangerettes hang a banner for finishing with the same record as the AL West Champs?

They will hang it right next to the "5 all stars" one.

The Cardinals "claimed" a division title in 2001, I would not be surprised to see Arlington do the same.Farmer1906 said:

And with that the Rangers have donated 7 truckloads of t-shirts to a good cause.

The Rangers partied last night while the Astros had a champagne toast and quickly turned their attention to Sunday and one more win. Houston's "been-there, done-that" mentality paid off, it seems.

As much as I hate tie breakers for baseball, The Boot did mean something this year.jkag89 said:And since there is no longer a game 163, this trophy now could actually mean something.jetch17 said:
