Check, I've even posted on your thread this season, not once was it disparaging and I liked your postseason chances then quite a few Ranger fans before they got on this rather impressive run.

The Rangers should not have been in this position in this year. Making a Vegas bet for them to make the playoffs would have been a nice payday. Betting on them to make the ALCS would have been an even bigger payday. Making it to the WS is almost unthinkable.

Astro fans should be given space to cope in whatever way helps them with their pain. I'm a fan of leaving them alone and not talking smack with how our team has done vs theirs.

Have to give credit where credit is due. Rangers bats still haven't exploded like they can, but getting timely hitting and great pitching.

All I know is I was there from 2010-2014 and the bad years. What others do or don't do as fans doesn't bother me. If they want to hop on the bandwagon after a title, go for it. The more the merrier

The Rangers had an attendance spike in 2021 because of new stadium. It dropped to 18th in 2022.

Still, nowhere near the lows of Astros attendance during the rebuild.

Yall weren't top half in 18, 19, 22, & 23. 20 was covid and 21 was greatly affected by covid.

Not true, while poor, it was no where as bad as the A's (nor Tampa's, nor Miami's) current attendance woes and at its worse mirrored Oakland's attendance during those dark years. In other words the Astros drew about the same number of fans during their 100+ loss seasons as the A's were drawing when winning and competing for division titles. And lets not forget the forced move to the AL which pissed off many long time fans and a truly effed up TV situation during that time. Also attendance began to rebound before the 2017 season.

this thread would be more fun if the Astros would actually put up a fight. They have been completely outplayed thus far. Such a frustrating year to be an Astros fan. Hats off to the Rangers thus far. Hopefully the Astros can win some games in Dallas and at least bring the series back to Houston.
