I don't know what is up with Green, but this team is nearly unbeatable when he is shooting well. I think you just have to ride with him and hope he gets hot for the playoffs.
Is he in a slump or did he just play above his average the last few years? He still appears to be getting wide open looks to me, but maybe they are a bit more contested than in the past now that he had some success.

Cancer sucks
Cancer sucks! I lost a friend to leukemia last month.
I survived the same diagnosis, AML, by the grace of God and the kindness of a stranger who donated bone marrow in 2010. I am very surprised that he relapsed. The hardest part of a bone marrow/stem cell transplant is surviving the periods of time when you have little to no immune system and graft-versus-host-disease. The survival rate is less than 40%. If you make two years post transplant, then you are considered cured. I ran a 1/2 marathon on my two year anniversary, crazy considering the challenging road my family & I traveled.
New technology is on the way that trains our body's T-cells to attack the cancerous cells. For some reason the body puts the brakes on our immune system, MD Anderson (where I was treated) and others are doing studies today that are successfully lifting those breaks. The success of those studies is the major reason Pres. Obama said we will end cancer in his state of the union address. I pray for Craig to survive and inspire all of the leukemia patients suffering today, particularly those innocent children who've not yet lived a full life.

Quad contusion = Deep thigh bruise He took a knee to the thigh on one of his drives. It's painful but not a serious injury. If you ever saw the movie Miracle, it's what the USA player had when Herb Brooks yelled at him and told him to get his gear on.

I say rest Kawhi for at least the two Grizzlies games coming up. No need to play him.
Ditto on Aldridge and Parker. And Duncan.
Let them get their run against OKC maybe, but I think the Grizz games should be heavy Andre Miller, Matt Bonner, and Kevin Martin games.
Just my opinion though.

Kawhi for MVP
Kawhi was amazing last night. There was one sequence when he smothered a Wade drive, Wade had to pass it back out to run something else. Kawhi then switched onto Whiteside to stop the ensuing pick n roll. Then he boxed out Whiteside to grab a nice defensive rebound. He then dribbled up the court and drained a pull up transition 3. It was something else.
32 points, 8 boards, 3 threes and at least 3 and 1s. In 24 minutes!
