I wonder if Pop's resting of a lot of guys early was to keep playing leading up to the first round to stay sharp? I dunno. Even TP said in a post game that he thought Pop was going to rest them last night but he said lets play.

Not really related to anything, but I imagine Pau would take back his decision to join the Bulls over the Spurs. Chicago probably won't even make the playoffs. Hope we can make a hard push for him again in the offseason.

We have to win out. Beat okc one, golden state twice, Dallas once, and Denver on the second night of a b2b on the road. Tall order...
For sure, but at least do-able. Just beating GS once and ruining their dreams of a record breaking year is a tall order. but it can be done
Hopefully the 7th seed is somebody other than the Mavs... It's boring having to eliminate the same team every year.

I just don't see the benefit in playing everyone vs golden state tomorrow. Really hope Pop sits guys instead. They should sit vs Denver also IMO. Play the remaining two home games at full strength and get what little rest you still can for our old guys.

I think you have it backwards. Why would you let down now if the first two games will determine whether you have any chance at the top seed. I know it's not the most important thing to them, but it is really all there is left to play for at this point. And you know they would rather have home-court advantage if given the choice.
So why not give it a shot these first two games, and you should know by the next time you play Golden State whether it is still worth going full strength.
Yeah, there is nothing to lose going full strength in GS. You lose, oh well, it was on their home floor. You win, you ruin their pursuit at glory and still have a chance at the #1 overall seed.
My prediction: We see the big(old) 3 rest tonight and see how close Aldridge, Danny, and Kawhi (young 3)can keep it. I think we go full strength for home meeting with GS.

The Spurs have rested plenty and they will rest tomorrow. GS has much more of a psychological risk tonight than the Spurs. The Spurs aren't supposed to win this game regardless.
