I think that both Parker and Mills are playing at a higher level now than they were in the playoffs last year so the PG position won't be as big of an advantage for the Clips. Plus Griffin played out of his mind that series. That was probably the best few days of basketball in his career. That won't happen again and the Spurs have a better defense this year.

I want the Clippers purely for the revenge factor from last year.
I also think OKC presents more of a problem for Golden State in a best of seven series. I don't think OKC can win that series, but chasing Durant and Westbrook around for that many games would tire anyone out.

Durant and Westbrook scare me because if they both go beast mode and Ibaka plays well they are unbeatable. LAC gave the Spurs their best shot last year when the Spurs were down, and they still barely won on a lucky shot.

With the addition of Martin, who gets cut?
Butler or Bonner. Probably Bonner, but I would rather cut Butler.
I actually like Butler. He's pretty decent defensively and would be used more than Bonner. I love Matty but with the addition of another outside shooter he is pretty expendable.
I still don't know where Martin fits exactly, especially with Manu back. I really thought Anderson was improving a lot. But I guess he will have to wait for his time next year now.

Also, maybe this signing is a reaction to the inconsistency of Green this year. Martin is by no means the defender that Danny is, but if we need a bucket, I could see him taking away Green's minutes.

But Bonner has been pretty injury prone as of late. Using a cell phone gave him an elbow injury for God's sake.

I love Bonner but Butler has actually gotten significant playing time lately and fits the Spurs system pretty well. He played 19 minutes last night. The only bench player that had more minutes was Patty. Plus Bonner is still sidelined with the injury.
Wouldnt shock me if neither Bonner or Butler get cut, knowing Pop it will be no one expects, watch Boban get cut since he us still raw and least valuable against GS. If Boban see time in the playoffs it will be for fouls or garbage time, which Bonner can do just as easily, but he can also spread the floor with his 3s.
