If the Spurs intentionally lose the res of their games, they will still have the best record in team history.
Yep, the NBA is really, really down this year.
Your troll is acknowledged, but just know that you suck at it.
I'm not trolling. We have a great team this year, but can you honestly say that this is the all-time greatest Spurs team?
I've dwelled on this topic some, and I think that two good indicators are the Clippers and Thunder.
I don't think these two teams have fallen off like the rest of the West. I think they are about the same as they have been the last few years, with the exception of the OKC team last year (Durant out).
The Clippers have a worse record this year than the past few years (and during the season they were actually better with Griffin out, than with him, so it wasn't just the absence of Blake).
Likewise, the OKC Thunder have their lowest WP of the last 5 seasons (removing the Durant injury season).
If the West and NBA was so down, than why aren't these two teams having significantly better winning percentages than in the past?
This isn't to deny/approve on the greatness of this Spurs teams relative to the others (Spurs teams), but more to the idea that the NBA is really down this year because I have felt that way as well, but I'm not seeing the Clippers and Thunder reap a better record because of that, and they should have as well, if it were true.
