FWIW, last year Aldridge played pretty well against the Warriors and he was 1 of only 2 guys on that team you really had to worry about. He dropped 25+ both games I think.

You can't sleep on Clay's shooting. The guy has multiple 20+ point quarters in this league. When he gets rolling its a sight to see. But I agree, as an all around player I think he's vastly over hyped. He's a poor man's Reggie Miller IMO. Tall and clever with a great shot; good at coming off screens or hitting in transition. But he's not going to create for himself and he his defense is just okay. He's also very streaky.

Looks like the Warriors woke up again... kicking the crap out of everybody again... still 2.1 points per game difference behind the Spurs!
The Western Conference Champs may be who gets the luckiest with injuries.

Not only that, but the path the Spurs have to take to get there. If we've got two 6-7 game series, the old folks may be worn down for a series with the Warriors especially with their style speed and relentlessness.
quote:Indeed. Early in the season Pop has been much more willing to let multiple starters rest in a single game. He won't push them for home court. We should easily wrap up the #2 seed w/out having to press.
I'm hoping that the GSW will keep striving for the wins record and be worn out by the time the playoffs start. The Spurs should be well rested come playoff time
