We've proved that we can play them competently, which is all I wanted to see. We missed shots, but the offense worked well enough. The defense was outstanding as well, which is enough to keep GS from exploding. I still think GS likely wins the series, but it shouldnt be embarrassing.

I'm about 50/50 on whether we beat the Dubs.
It's hard to say at this point. Almost certain that Pop has something else up his sleeve to throw at them come playoff time. Not sure that it will be enough to beat them, but I think Pop has kept things pretty vanilla in these regular season matchups thus far.
Anyway, Spurs need to focus on rounds 1 and 2 beforehand. Worry about the dubs in another month. Lots can happen between now and then.

I don't know that we can play much better defensively and on the boards against that team, but with Boris back and Kawhi hitting anywhere close to normal, let alone Green, Patty, or Parker, we can play a lot better offensively. I just hope we can get by OKC because a Spurs-Warriors series will be epic.

You can now cross Houston and Utah off the list for potential 1st round opponents.
It looks like a first round matchup with Memphis if I had to guess. I doubt the Spurs play anyone @Dallas on Wednesday and I don't think Memphis will win @LAC or @GS to end the season.

Spurs pretty much control who they play. Win at Dallas = Dallas first round, Lose at Dallas = Memphis first round.
This is contingent on GS and/or LAC beating Memphis which I would call very likely.
Dallas could also potentially move up to 5 with a win and a Portland loss against Denver. Not likely though.

Memphis would be an easier first round but I hate the idea of finishing the season on a four game skid.

If Memphis loses its final two games (@LAC,@GS) then it's Spurs vs Grizzlies in the first round regardless of what happens in the Spurs/Mavs game tomorrow. So Memphis has to win tonight because they aren't beating GS lol.
Is there any way to handicap the most likely day and time for game 1? We have tickets and I'd like to start getting some tentative weekend plans in place.

If you look at the West, I think GS and LAC are locks to get the two 9:30 PM games on SAT/SUN since they are the only two west coast teams playing at home. That would leave me to guess that the Spurs will get one of the 7 PM games on SAT/SUN with the Sunday 7 PM slot the most likely, IMO.
I think the bigger/more popular markets will command the 2 PM primetime games and the eastern conference teams tend to get those 4-5 PM starts.
Just a guess though.

Def an incredible reg season. Hate that we have kinda lost some of our momentum at the end here going into playoffs but it was to be expected when you get locked into a top 2 seed with like twenty games remaining. Just ready for the reg season to be over and hopefully the Spurs can find their game quickly in round one.
