There's a couple of jobs open at SSE that I feel qualified for. It's almost intimidating to apply there because (in my head anyway) I imagine people are figuratively killing each other to work there.

Truth. I seem to be doing awesome at the "we don't pay shht because people would kill to work for us" careers. On the good side, one of my more recent interviews with a sports/media conglomerate went well and I am hopeful.

I got an internship there as my last semester before graduating. They then hired me on and I worked there for a bit. Great people and I still have friends there. The experiences are unreal(I was there for the 03 championship, got to carry the trophy and ride in the riverboat parade and the night of the championship drank champagne in the offices below with the Admiral) but the money is awful. Come playoff time though we would go to lunch with our spurs gear on and never pay. It was a time of my life I'll never forget.

I'm OK with Hubie. It's not exactly educational, but he keeps the flow going without being Reggie Miller and occasionally you get a cool old story out of the deal.

It's just worn on me over time. He constantly also says "Look up! Look up!" when teams rebound the ball and there is nobody down the floor to look to. He does seem a little senile.

I'll talk about it here since the Rockets thread is a ban happy zone.

The Rockets do more stupid **** on the floor. Steph is out, they're playing pretty good, then they keep trying to throw the ball ahead on fast breaks to Montejunas and Howard in traffic. Just dumb, little dribbler things like not finding a guard.

Basketball IQ is not their strong suit for sure and I don't think they have the coach in place to correct the mistakes.

Curry is out and the Warriors go off for 33 pts in the qtr with 2 1/2 minutes left to play.

Michael Beasley would be a hell of a 21 player. 1 vs everyone else, float around and try and get cheap rebounds and steals. He'd be tough to beat.

dude, it was all the refs protecting GSW by forcing the Rockets to leave Klay wide the **** open. Get it straight [/clutchfans thread on TA basketball other]

They're worse than the high schoolers on the Spurs sites.
