Verde saw that call-out post and decided it was time to hit a three.

Is it just me or has Boris Diaw been a bum the last half of the season on both ends of the floor
quote:No kidding. His passes suck, he's turning it over a lot it seems, and his normal tricky defense is below average now. He was giving LeBron fits not that long agoquote:He's not been fully engaged for some reason.

Uh oh rest of the league... Patty starting to look like the 2014 version again!
Regardless of the stats though, you gotta love the way he plays!

Does it look to anyone else like Boris has gotten skinnier over the last few weeks? I kind of wonder if he's playing crappy because he's more focused on maintaining a calorie deficit and doing conditioning work so he can enter the playoffs at fighting weight. Probably seeing through Spurs-colored glasses here.

God I love D-West's game.

- Leonard still drives a 1997 Chevy Tahoe that's nicknamed "Gas Guzzler." He does it because "it runs and it's paid off." (this San Diego Union piece from last year revealed that he also has a Porsche, but he rarely drives it)
- Leonard freaked out after he lost a book of coupons from his sponsor Wingstop last summer and asked for them to give him new ones so that he could get free wings -- even though his new $94 million contract had just kicked in.
quote:What's really great is that all the basketball 'experts' and even guys like Bill Simmons wrote that the Hill for Kawhi trade was the most balanced, even trade of all time. Hill has averaged 12 points, 3.5 assists and 4 rebounds as starting PG this year and is third on his team in assists. When was the last time a starting PG was third on his team in assists?quote:I just read that article, and it was fantastic.

Kawhi really is someone that Timmy and Pop built in their spare time. He's nearly the perfect Spur, nearly tied with Tim/David.
I know Pop and the front office will always get a lot of credit for some of the great moves they've made throughout the years, but trading Hill and drafting Kawhi is probably their greatest move ever. It has likely set the entire franchise up for another 10+ years, and after the run we've been on since David, then Tim, then Tony/Manu, that's freaking incredible.
I've always loved Kawhi...how can you not? But that article just shed so much more light on who he is, and, if possible, I like him even more.
