We've owned it on both ends. I'm not happy with our starts as of late. Vs Ok and Lac. We can't have a slow start against that team on the bay. They could blow it out early and be very hard to get back in it.

Like I said during the playoffs last year, this is the strategy the Spurs need to use against the Clippers (and several other teams). Don't hack DeAndre and slow the game down. We have insane depth and conditioning, so run these guys to death for 48 minutes. They will run out of gas in the fourth quarter. At one point the Clippers intentionally fouled and started calling time outs just to get rest... and it's the regular season!
There's only one team in the league that can talk about matching San Antonio for depth and we won't see them until the WCF. Get nasty and wear them down. Bring the ball up the court fast so they have to defend starting at 20 on the shot clock every possession, make Chris Paul chase our guards through a million screens, and keep crashing the glass.

Does it look to anyone else like Boris has gotten skinnier over the last few weeks? I kind of wonder if he's playing crappy because he's more focused on maintaining a calorie deficit and doing conditioning work so he can enter the playoffs at fighting weight. Probably seeing through Spurs-colored glasses here.

Probably having trouble with his nespresso maker. As soon as he gets it replaced I am sure he will be good to go.

Kawhi really is someone that Timmy and Pop built in their spare time. He's nearly the perfect Spur, nearly tied with Tim/David.
I know Pop and the front office will always get a lot of credit for some of the great moves they've made throughout the years, but trading Hill and drafting Kawhi is probably their greatest move ever. It has likely set the entire franchise up for another 10+ years, and after the run we've been on since David, then Tim, then Tony/Manu, that's freaking incredible.
I've always loved Kawhi...how can you not? But that article just shed so much more light on who he is, and, if possible, I like him even more.
