The best part of that, is Timmy trying to embarrass Pop with the exuberant celebration.
It is so fun to be a Spurs fan. I just sit and watch the game like tonight and just feel myself smiling. And it seems to be somebody different each time. This team may turn out to be my favorite of all time.
Gonna be hard to beat the 2014 team. They had great chemistry, played beautifully, and the redemption factor was huge.

As Dallas proved, Warriors are nothing without Curry.

2014 Spurs is one of the greatest teams of all time.
I wish that I got more Spurs games on tv up in Dallas. Only have got to watch live feed games a few times this year.

In a series, both OKC and the Clips are potentiAl foils still. I actually think the Spurs matchup better with GSW than OKC.
They must keep Simmons in a cage between games. That kid is relentless. "I have the ball, must be TIME TO GO DUNK IT."
It's been awesome watching Simmons from Austin to Summer League to now having success on the Spurs. Glad to see him getting the bulk of the minutes now at that backup wing spot. He adds another dynamic the Spurs just don't have a ton of with his ability to drive and get into the lane/draw fouls, etc. Also a very underrated passer and plays extremely hard defensively. Sure, he's young, raw and will therefore make mistakes but he does too many other things well to not get the bulk of the minutes over Anderson and Butler. Hope it continues.
Simmons and Boban are going to sign fat contracts someday and owe it all to the Spurs. The scouting and development in SA makes millionaires. With American Idol going away, they should make a reality show featuring the Spurs summer league team. Who wants to be the next Neal, Green, Splitter, Joseph, Baynes or Simmons?

When I watch the Warriors, Curry is getting pretty good looks from several feet beyond the 3 pt line. That is now easily within his range. So what do we do to take that away? How do you defend that?
Tony Parker I think has always struggled some with defense and especially defending the pick and roll. One thing Ive seen the Warriors do is bring a high pick and roll and Curry usually tries to use that to step to the side to get another 3 point look or he drives (which he is a good creative finisher as well). I think having Kawhi on him picking him up at half court or much further from the 3 makes sense. If someone comes to run a pick and roll, we've got big guys that can move decently well with West, Aldridge, and Diaw. If its another wing player, the person switching would be a quick player able to contest a drive.

Where do you take him though? Do you pick him up well beyond the three and pressure him constantly no matter how far off the 3 he is?

The only way to defend him is to fight over every pick, always stay in contact, always keep your hands up, and cover the drive with smart help defense and extremely fast rotations. Oh, and you have to cover the roll man, too.

I'd say put Kawhi on Draymond Green. Danny on Curry, and Parker on Klay.

Parker to miss 2nd straight game with the sore hip. Doesn't look like anything serious just a precaution. Should be able to take care of Utah without him. The rest is good for him and it gives some of the young guys some meaningful playing time.
Patty with the starters has a noticable impact on both ends. Positively on offense and negatively on defense.
Aldridge also OUT tonight (Rest).
