The thing thats remained the same is Danny Greens poor offensive play

15 wins away from hitting 70 wins. 17 games left.
Remaining schedule:
Thunder
Clippers
Blazers
Warriors
@Hornets
Heat
Grizzlies
@Thunder
@Grizzlies
Pelicans
Raptors
@Jazz
@Warriors
@Nuggets
Warriors
Thunder
Mavs
Easily the toughest stretch of the season still ahead. Still got 7 games vs Warriors, Thunder, and Clippers. And the Raptors are no joke.
I give us about a 5% chance of hitting 70. Chance of staying undefeated at home, maybe 30%. If we can go 4-0 in this upcoming home stretch, I think we do it.

important for us to keep the 2 seed in the West.
Edit: Would also love Clippers to catch OKC (currently 3.5 games back)so that we wouldn't have to go through both OKC and Warriors. Spurs could potentially control this since we play the Thunder 3 times and clippers once. Rest against Warriors and Clippers, all out against Thunder.
quote:Considering they play 3 games head to head in those 17 games and 2 of them are in SA makes it even more unlikely.
It's still mathematically possible for the spurs to lose the 2 seed, but they would have to lose 10 or 11 more games than the thunder in the last 17 games of the season. Going 7-10 the rest of the way while the thunder go undefeated seems pretty unlikely.
