I feel like the first team offense is starting to improve. Second team has regressed though as they try to absorb the roster/lineup changes.
The thing thats remained the same is Danny Greens poor offensive play

Edit: Would also love Clippers to catch OKC (currently 3.5 games back)so that we wouldn't have to go through both OKC and Warriors. Spurs could potentially control this since we play the Thunder 3 times and clippers once. Rest against Warriors and Clippers, all out against Thunder.
It's still mathematically possible for the spurs to lose the 2 seed, but they would have to lose 10 or 11 more games than the thunder in the last 17 games of the season. Going 7-10 the rest of the way while the thunder go undefeated seems pretty unlikely.

The Warriors and thunder just played each other 3 times in about a 2 week period. It's not just the Spurs that have some good games scrunched together.
And honestly that probably helped the Spurs a lot that they dodged those teams when LMA and West were acclimating to the team.
We could finish out the season without the big 3 and hold onto the 2 seed.
Spurs magic number to clinch the two seed over the Thunder is 8.

Don't have a great feeling about this game. Thunder are backed into a corner, and it has that spotlight meltdown sort of vibe to it.
That said, if it's close in the 4th quarter then the Spurs definitely win.

Hopefully Westbrook is burning his juice early and will live up to his typical 4th quarter meltdown
Thunder are playing terrible defense. Spurs have missed wide-open threes and several point-blank layups and still scored 25.
Lot of missed opportunities, feels like Spurs should be up by 10.
FFS what happened to Danny? He's wide open and can't hit anything.
Danny is playing really good defense but man he has become lost on offense
Danny Green has transformed into Tony Allen.
It has to be mental and confidence related with Green. I keep expecting him to snap out of it, but it just hasn't happened. Very strange.
Did Danny Green forget how to make a basket?
