Will pop rest anyone? I have to believe he'll enjoy this one and come at full strength. But it wouldn't surprise me if he rested some just to downplay the result.
I don't think it's an all or nothing proposition on who plays and who doesn't.
He might come at them with the entire team, but maybe Tim and Tony only play 20 minutes. Maybe he experiments with ultra small or ultra big lineups just to see what they look like against GS.
I would like to see the Spurs come out and play a competitive, playoff type game, but if we do that and lose, there's no telling what it would do for our confidence, or worse, for the Warriors confidence.

I expect both teams to play hard while they're out there on the court, but in SA's case, if we fall behind by 15 or so in the second half, I think Pop will wave the white flag as soon as he can get away with it.

I think Spurs play a number of sets. Both teams will test some theories. But really, I think it's the Spurs who are easily the more adaptable team. We can throw several lineups that are challenging. Warriors have 1. It's the one where Curry drops 5 3s from anywhere on the court.

The spurs will try to win for sure. Pop even said this game will be big for the guys. But in the end, it's still just one game.

This isn't a good matchup for Timmy anyway. West and Diaw are plenty big enough to punish the Warriors down low, and more mobile on the perimeter.

I think Pop is just giving himself an excuse to experiment with some different small lineups. I'm sure in a future game he'll experiment with some big-big lineups as well.

If the Spurs are in a situation where they could win 72, do you think Pop goes for it?

There are multiple NBA reporters who say Pop has a different mindset about home court after the Clippers series last year.
We had the chance to close that series out at home. Home court wasn't as big of a factor as the health of TP and Splitter.
I don't think he'll worry about it a ton until close to the end of the season.
Clippers lose, OKC down double digits in the third.
Granted we have to win tomorrow for it to matter.
