Just picturing the scene at AT&T when Duncan comes off the court, everyone knowing it's his last game, gets me a bit emotional.
I think when Duncan walks off the court for the last time, it probably won't be announced before hand. And I think with The Marcus, he will play next year as well.
Tim Duncan needs 6 blocks to pass Robinson for #1 on the Spurs leaderboard and to 5th in NBA history.
I agree, I don't think he'll announce anything while he's playing.

Oh my god, and what about the Spurs? What about MY Spurs? What do THEY do when he's gone?
For so long, being a Spur has meant the same amazing/beautiful/predictable thing. As soon as Timmy retires, with Pop following behind him, all of that is going to change. I'm sure they'll try to keep their systems in place, but I'm also sure it won't be the same. Basically everything I've known about my favorite sports franchise, the one team that I've cheered for my whole entire life, is going to be different.
The Spurs will be different.
San Antonio will be different.
I'll be different.

Kawhi's offensive game is so much more polished. Doing well with ball in hand. Also helps that you take out Rasho and insert a guy that can stretch the floor or post up. So while defense doesn't slip much, you have a 5th offensive player.
Watch around the 3:10 mark. Melo is at the top corner and the play is for him to get the ball. Despite screens, Kawhi completely denies him even getting the ball. 4 games in, he is at 21p/9r/2.3s/2.0b while only playing 32mpg.

I really Perdued some Paspalj off. My Bonner.
Weird first quarter, but the Spurs lead by one. Anderson is a lot of fun to watch on offense. Made some very heady plays that remind you of a seasoned vet, not a kid in his second season. Just before the buzzer, he pump fakes and gets Gooden in the air and is able to draw the easy foul for free throws. Lots of guys would have just thrown up a jumper there.
Right now Parker is -12 and Patty is +16.
So kawhi.... Hot damn.
With the current games stats and for the year, Danny Green is 12-41 for 32 points.
This game got out of control and they let the wizards hang around. Going to be close at he end.
