Community Impact did a very detailed breakdown of the construction projects from the county (Medicals examiner office, courthouse annex, and administration building). Includes quite a few pictures as well.

Article says they need to shut down Texas Ave and WJB for 12 weeks for the sky bridge. That seems like a long time.
I don't know construction, but it seems like you could prefab the sky bridge and crane it into place in a week.

Asking for a couple hundred thousand friends….

Zero because it won't happen. It spans the third floor and it's physically impossible to hit it without destroying multiple stoplights.

They aren't willing to pay for the solution. For an unnecessary feature that is already over budget. Who cares if they inconvenience their constituents?

I've eaten just about everything out there but never had oxtail. Not sure I could eat that. Not sure I could do mountain oysters again either.

the trick is getting some yankee to eat them and then tell them what they really are about an hour later
