As someone who has delt with several municipalities including CS, they may not be the worst, but they're certainly up there for a city of their size.

That's 1 million kinds of whack! We deal with both cities daily, and that statement is so far from reality it can't even be called fiction. In my last gig before I opened Elite Electric 17 years ago, I was VP of a company that had 880 employees and worked all over the state and we never crossed paths with a tougher to deal with municipality. I'll admit we didn't work behind the orange curtain so maybe those weirdos are worse. Outside of that possibility I do not see how anyone could make or defend that statement, unless they are just being willfully ignorant.

This will be a big loss. I get it though. Their health hasn't been great the last few years.
My late father in law was a local architect and real estate developer. He told me that he'd rather build 10 projects in Bryan versus one in CS, because the one named city was amenable and easy to work with. The two named city, not so much.

The first time I ever heard of pickleball was when my now adult children were telling me what games they played at school and summer camp.
