Javi's showed up on the Brazos County restaurant inspection report this week with an "Opening Inspection"... The only question is how will people get in the parking lot?

I was told that HEB discovered that there wouldn't be enough room for parking so they scrapped the plans to build there.

Move it a couple miles down Boonville where it sits between University and Harvey across from Central Church. It'd be in CS instead of Bryan (not that it matters). That'd be a much better spot to allow for more growth around it. The spot across from Miramont always seemed too small.!
HEB owns a ton of undeveloped land. They'll likely hold it for several yearsMyNameIsJeff said:
I'm remaining stubbornly optimistic on HEB until I see they no longer own the land.

My guess is Javi's will open and close before they finish Lincoln Ave.

City of CS probably wouldn't approve that site plan either…Dr. Watr said:
They should place a taco cabana at that location

Bubba Gump is fun, but a little "touristy" in the colloquial sense. Food is alright. You can check it out in San Antonio or Galveston.

While Im not advocating for kbtx to be clear, it's very common for CAD to take some time to update when ownership changes. Also, I do not claim to know anything about this issue at all.
