That's an interesting concept. You pay $5 to become a member of this restaurant club and then you get cheap food at any of their restaurants (though only one will be in College Station - the pizza place). There's only one location in the entire country right now. I don't see myself joining this club.

The other week someone said that Antonio's would become apart of some east coast pizza slice franchise. Whatever happened to that?

I have no idea if this is allowed. If you or someone is willing to create a separate thread:

- Have people sign up for a date

- Each username can only sign up for one date

- Each date can only be taken by one username (once date is taken its locked in 1 date, 1 entry)

I- t's the Aggieland board. People entering the contest should be living in the Brazos Valley (Aggie Honor there will be no actual check)

- Someone will have to set what constitutes official opening in case there is a soft opening or friends and family event, etc. (does retail even do this???)

* Person who creates the thread will set the official rules; including open and closing of when people can guess. These are brainstorming items only.

Piasano's hinted at a new location on its Facebook page. Looks to be by S&W and Rock Prairie but I'm not sure if it's a second location or moving the original.

Also, rumors are correct about McDonald's moving to the space vacated by Valero at Wellborn and Holleman.

My guess is that it is going to be something like Towerpoint, something large and then other small retail locations around it. Wife is wanting Target, I would prefer a Home Depot, though both would kill my pocket book.

On the Pebble Creek property sale, why would the real estate company be making an announcement? Ok, it gets them some free advertising but I thought that was odd. Their statement indicated that the new owners might make a statement around the new year. The new year was also mentioned by the City of CS (during the Costco news release) as when some other "news" could come out on new business coming. Perhaps these two are connected??


Given the Tower Point area topic, how much unleased space is currently available in the TP / Cap Rock complex?

Generally, the businesses have been successful that have moved out there. Yes, not everyone has been but the TP side seems quite stable.

I think the traffic pattern is too jacked up for a Bucees at that location. I suspect, if they come, they will go a little farther south. probably closer to the 2154 or 159 exits off HWY 6

BCS is already one of the smaller markets to have two Target stores. A third full-size location seems highly unlikely and I doubt they would considering closing either of the existing locations.

I could see one of Target's new smaller format urban/college stores going in along University at some point though.

If this Pebble Creek plot ends up being strip retail development, it is about the right distance from the existing Walmarts for that to be a strong guess.
