Maybe I'm making too much of this, but I liked the way Dany handled Titan's ******* and Dario.
Titan's ******* crudely made a point to Dany that he see her naked to know if she's worth fighting for. Of course he didn't have the chance to find out, but she had no problem showing she was worth fighting for to her would be assassin.
And we thank her for that.
BTW, anyone else think King Joffrey looked like a dork wearing his crown while escorting Sansa? It was tilted a bit like it was being worn by Vanilla Ice!

I'm guessing its going to show the future in the fire for the three guys they named... Either that or its their version of voodoo and the lord of light will kill them.

This is the first time we have seen a white walker die. The zombies have been killed by fire.

I think you couldn't really tell if he dropped the knife he had and stabbed the white walker guy with.

I'm pretty sure Sam did leave the dagger behind, he stabbed it in old man winter's back and you could clearly see it fall to the ground when the guy evaporated, next thing you see is Sam and Gilly running off.
I believe they showed it laying on the ground and him running away. That little "arrowhead" is his only defense!

I was discussing with the wife last night as we were watching. I made the comment that we have never seen the Hound do anything truly evil to either of the Stark girls, and he has saved each of them a couple of times (and even refused a crazy/twisted order from Joffrey I believe).
While he did kill the butcher's boy, in season 1, it was under order of the king - tough for anyone to refuse that.

Can someone explain a little bit better who the Second Sons were and why there was potentially going to be a battle? Just a random group of sellswords? I think I might not have been paying the closest attention at the beginning of the episodes.

The Second Sons are sellswords, currently contracted to fight for the Yunkai. Dany wants to do a repeat and free the slaves, etc. But she would have to fight the Second Sons, so she is trying to sway them over to her side.
The Second Sons are a mercenary band that is currently under contract to the city that Dany has told to surrender. They would be switching sides rather than defending the city from her.

I was very happy with last night's episode. Of course, the two storylines that have dragged on the most (Theon and Bran) weren't on last night's episode, so that helps. The Lannister/Stark wedding was interesting, especially with Joffrey going full blown d-bag. The Hound is taking Arya back to her family, and I hope that happens...would love to see her re-united with her mother and brother. And, we got to Khaleesi bathing, which automatically made this a great episode.
How do you Sam and Gilly plan to climb the wall with that baby? Heck, they couldn't do it without the baby.
If Sam makes it to Castle Black, the night's watch would just let him in the gate...since he's one of them.
I would think someone at castle black could open the gate?
