I can backup Stive in that the debt was an utter d-bag in his responses last night before they "mysteriously" disappeared without explanation. I don't think anyone was mad though, I think everyone was more shocked that over-confident, condescending nerdiness of his caliber still existed in the wild.

It's hard to say for certain but it appears it was just the initial wound catching up with Mormont rather than a second wound.

I agree. I thought it was just the initial wound finally setting in and finishing him off. Tough old boot almost choked a man to death after being mortally wounded. Pretty salty character.

i was wondering that too. almost looked like he intentionally spat blood on Rast at first
It seemed like he was stabbed once, and had a rush of adrenaline/last breath of life effort to crush the life out of his throat. Then he when he spit up the blood its like his wound had caught up to him quickly and he realized it.
I will make a beloved character ... and kill him off.
I personally hope that the Hound beats the other dude in the trial by combat. He's such an interesting and cool character. As mean as he is, he has done some noble things - like saving the knight that toppled his brother in the tourney and saving Sansa from herself and others several times. I believe that his soft spot for Sansa has some future ramifications, otherwise they wouldn't have made such a point about it. And I feel like they will have another epic battle between him and the Mountain at some point.
Don't know anything about the other dude, other than he is the leader of the banner-less and apparently a bad ass. But I have no emotional investment in him because he just hasn't been around.
Agree with everyone else that the final Dany scene was tops for the series so far. I've seen it 4-5 times now and still can't get enough.
