Not all of us are as cultured and have the same appreciation for the arts as "Jackass2004."

The series is amazing, but no series is above criticism, and this season has had a slow pace overall. As I said earlier, we're about to finish the season, and it feels as if we're in the middle of the season. I haven't read the books, but I believe somebody said earlier that this season is the first part of the third book, and that is what it feels like. Just feels like we're building to something that we aren't going to get to in three episodes.

But, if it makes you feel better to call people simpletons because they tire of seeing the same scene of Theon being tortured every week or the same scene of Bran and friends in the woods every week, then go ahead.


Complaints remind me of the Boardwalk Empire complaints.

There is a lull right now, but that's really because the armies are kind of falling apart and they are trying to regroup. Renly's dead, Daenerys is on the other side of the globe, Stannis got his ass handed to him at the Blackwater, and Robb... what a complete clusterf: Winterfell is a smoking ruin, his siblings are all dead or in the hands of the Lannisters as far as he knows, his mom's going insane and paranoid like her sister, and he's had to behead one of his liege lords over it.

I'm a reader. Relax... Exciting stuff is coming.

I don't come here every week...in fact, I had never posted about this show until this week. I love Game of Thrones. I merely expressed disappointment that this season has been a bit lackluster in comparison to the first two seasons. In doing so, this is the second reference somebody has made to me being a Michael Bay fan. I'm normally just a lurker here, but after reading posts on the entertainment board for years, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that some of the film and television snobs on here have to demonstrate their critical superiority to the rest of the herd by labelling me as being mentally incapable of appreciating art.

I picture that many of you are semi-employed non-conformist hipsters in your late twenties, working on your screenplay or your novel, living off your parents, with nothing to really show for in your life except credit card debt and a sense of entitlement. See, I can make ridiculous assumptions, as well.

The Michael Bay comment is almost a meme on this board. Say anything about the pace of any show and that means you want everything to be directed by Michael Bay.

I'm outraged that we'll have to wait 2 weeks for episode 9! The next one is airing on May 19th and the ninth one won't air until Jun 2nd. I'm blaming arrested development's release date.
