I was simply responding. Your numbers come from Macrotrends, and I have no idea where they get those numbers from. According to Census Reporter, which uses data directly from the US Census Bureau, the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington CSA had a population of 7.76 million in 2021. According to the same source, the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land CSA had a population of 7.21 million in 2021. Pretty much every source besides Macrotrends reports these numbers.
Regardless, I agree. Maybe it is not a good idea to use market size as a trash talking point when the two markets are even remotely similar in population. And it is really a bad idea when your market is actually smaller than the other market.
