Agents have no say in pre-arbitration contracts, so I don't think it's a big deal. To be in the Kris Bryant neighborhood should please Carlos and his agent, considering Bryant was MVP in 2016 and Carlos doesn't yet have a top 15 finish. Bryant also just set the highest first-year arbitration salary. Unless Carlos wins MVP this year, I expect him to still be in the same neighborhood, but not equaling Bryant with his first arbitration salary next offseason. Likely in the $9M range.

Hell yes.
Ended up working out. Met my wife.
