im about 99% sure i know this one but want to check with the experts to be sure.

located in prosper by a buddy's neighbor. i'd love to tell you it survived the encounter but i didn't get to them in time. i was going to drive 30 miles to pick it up but they dispatched it before i could get to them

Looks like some kind of python. Someone's pet?

In reply to Zoo, Yes, or a rat. It just seemed a little thick and muscular, especially through the neck to me, for a rat. And all the patterns on the head. Although it is very similar to the one on the previous page.

This thread has been awesome for quite awhile. While grilling burgers this afternoon, a pretty, yellow and green striped snake about 18" comes slithering along our patio.
I told my wife that's a checkered garter snake. She didn't believe me, took a pic, then googled it. I was correct. She asked me how I knew- I told her the power of TexAgs.

Yep, same snake in both pics. First saw her around 9am this morning, and again at 4pm. Hadn't moved more that a foot during that time.

My son and his family just moved into a new house in Cypress. The developer is doing a bunch of site work all around. It has pushed critters out and into yards.
