Yep, the largest rattler I have ever seen on my place was this time of year. The weather was about the same..... a couple semi-warm days in between cold fronts. Snake was moving across my hay field and I chased it with my tractor where it escaped into a brush pile. I rarely see a snake during the day on my place during the hot months unless it is around sunset.oklaunion said:
No pic but just a reminder here in Texas, even in January you can get in trouble. I was moving some old tin at a rental property today and an 18" copperhead missed my hand by a foot under the last piece. He was pisssed I removed his roof and wasn't slow about showing it.
