Well done
Well, I don't post them all, but my dog killed three juvenile copperheads last week and I got one myself. I am tired of snakes!Pantera said:
It's basically the off-season of snake season now.

A rattlesnake gets in the boat 3 feet away, looking to strike, and someone decided the best first move to make was taking a picture?
I'll take your word for it, TC. And that story/link was great.TarponChaser said:3 Toed Pete said:

They're farther than 3 feet away and typically a snake in that position is too tired to do much of anything. Easy to safely take a picture and then coax him back overboard with a rod tip. Hell, there was a guy a few years ago who caught a monster LMB on the Brazos below PK with about a 14" rattlesnake he caught- IIRC, he stunned it with his paddle and then hooked it on a jighead while it was still alive.
Found the story- it was 2009- man, time flies: 10-pound bass on a live rattlesnake
