There is a sign up for "Baked of Fried" in the former Flip N Peel location on Freedom and Briarcrest. Anyone know anything about what it is or when it will open?

It's not altogether a terrible concept, but between rigid rules (one meat, two veggie, etc.), some questionable ingredients (lol, zucchini?), and an inability to create combos people actually like (fully loaded, bacon cheese fries, etc.) make this seem like a loser out of the gate.
YUCK. Nothing there looks appetizing. And why do we need 2 sauces? And what's with the strange vegetables. Terrible concept.

Edited to add: One time, I went to Panera and ordered their veggie soup. The lady asked ME what veggies came in it, and I said squash, tomatoes, asparagus, onions...and she replied with, oh, I don't eat any of them far-hn (foreign) vegetables. THIS TOWN.
The Oriental Market on Texas in Bryan next to KFC caught on fire the other night. Lady in Chevron next door said he did not have insurance. There has been yellow caution tape around building for several days. It used to be an old drive in back in the day.

I think they are saying that potato shack is going to be this new baked or fried place.
I know I'll give a try. Always nice to have a new delivery option for those nights we just don't want to cook. But I'll order my wings in small batches

I can definitely be done, and isn't weird, but in agreeance with you, in this seemingly crappy potato application where they have more meat than veggies, it's surely an afterthought type preparation (aka fried).
