The past few years there has been a boom in home construction and hotels in Bryan, but retail and restaurants, in my opinion, are lacking.

How can College Station have 2 Rasing Cane's, 3 Laynes and a Zaxby's and Bryan no chicken finger restaurants ??? Just sayin!


*Had to edit because College Station has 3 Laynes not 2.

I went to a Mo's Irish Pub in Houston Friday. The place was two stories and huge. Thr bar sat about 50 and the seating area was maybe 250. The patio easily sat 75. The manager said the location in College station will be three stories with a party deck and bigger than the Hwy. 290 location. Wow!

You do realize that the B in BCS is Bryan, right?

Anyway, yes, we like to process us some chicken in B so all of BCS can enjoy wings, strips, nuggets, other whole pieces, even necks. The more places selling it, the better!

Buffalo Wild Wings STILL HAS NTN trivia. All BWWs do. I was there playing it both Tuesday and Friday. And they still have poker. They have tons of boxes, now like tablets, and everything is on the tablet. So on busy sports nights it may not be on a TV screen, but it is still working.

If Buffalo Wild Wings has trivia, the waitress who served us didn't know it. I specifically asked. She said they got rid of it. Glad to hear that's not true, but that's what their server told me.

I enjoy Luigi's and the Sushi place in the HEB shopping center. Blue Baker is pretty good for what it is. I cannot wait for Mad Taco, although that is still a year away.

I cannot believe they are opening a Zaxby's. You would think we are already saturated with chicken strip places out here but I guess not.

Yes, chicken strip places seem to be taking over south CS. thank God for Whataburger and Mooyah's! need a few new good burger joints to open out here to balance it out!

Buffalo Wild Wings got rid of The Wednesday LIVE trivia when corporate took over. At lunch they actually put the trivia boxes out on almost all tables. Then they gather them up and put them in three accessible charging stations in various locations. You can see the lights indicating charging status. You can go get one or more yourself if the wait staff isn't responsive.
