Looks like it should be called III Star based on the Yelp rating.
I went to Wayback and had to park in the rear of the building. They are adding a Super Buffet and a pizza restaurant in the same center. How did this get past planning and zoning. There is a shortage of parking already.WildlifeAg02 said:

The Executive Inn off University is now College Station's second Days Inn (the area's third). Not sure on the interior but a friend of mine said they were replacing the furniture inside.

Great location, but too small, and too many site plan problems with that ditch right in the middle IMO. I think they spin it off to one of their other chains like Pappas, Pappas BBQ, etc... Maybe CoCS can turn that area into the long-anticipated riverwalk since the silt pond turned into a failure.

They had a mill or so, but knew they needed 5 minimum for a good toe hold, and knew the CS voters wouldn't go for the tax hike.
They went ahead with the best they could afford (robbing utility funds along the way), then prayed the voters would approve phase 2, 3, 4... in bonds.
The silt mitigation plan was in phase 2.
Therein lies the failure of what was once a beautiful plan.
Lotrack would have been YUGE, but never had a chance with that couple million price tag. Try it today and it would be at least 100 MM.

I guess thats another location that is jinxed. The food was really good, I thought the price was reasonable, the atmosphere was excellent , the service was usually good ...
