Almost forgot the bacon wrapped jalapeños are stuffed with cheese and brisket. Forecast for tomorrow is a high of 92.

Interesting. I love Barbosas but I prefer Post Oak, except for the poor parking up there. Haven't tried Pit Fiend but sure will.

I'm trying to burn through all of my use/lose leave before the end of the FY, I think I might have to head up on Thursday for a little day drinking at OMF along with some BBQ from pit fiend.

I may be talking myself out of it and may end up at Daynes or Panther City - neither which I've been to before either.

I've heard Fridays aren't too bad. And by not too bad I still think I'd want to be in line by 9. Believe it's still an absolute zoo on weekends.

I've been to panther city and the line was pretty slow. And the food was good, but not worth the line.

Of the three you're thinking of, I'd go:

Dayne's with a short line and food better than the line suggests.
Goldees with a crazy line and food that damn near matches the line
Panther city with a long line and food that doesn't match the wait

Well at one point Snows was cooking on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays for the meat they were shipping out for the week, dont know if they still do that or not. Clay would post lots of videos and pictures on his instagram so I guess it didnt seem to crazy to me when I first read it since I just figured Wadd knows them well.

Jirby told me that Sundays are the best days to try Goldees. We end there on a Friday and got in line by 9. It was still a 1 1/2 wait but worth it. He was really cool and walk me through there smokers and explained some things to me.

Great lunch today at Burnt Bean. Burgers were on special so split one to go with the normal meats and sides. "The Cinco" might be one of my favorite sausage links in BBQ right now.

I went to Panther City on Saturday. Must have been my lucky day because I Got there at around 11:30 and the line wasn't long at all - just got inside the door and it was only a 20 min wait max. Food was damn good. Had 4 different people say to try the brisket elote, and Holy crap they were right. It was heaven
