Wow those are good changes to artifacts. When does the next expansion come out? Maybe that will bring me back.

An exotic khvostov is coming. It has no exotic perk but the thing that makes it exotic is the perk tree. It will have over 100 combinations of perks. Full auto, burst fire, semi auto, 450 rpm, 900 rpm and more.
Light level will be 385 until hard raid drops then it will be 400. Possibly year 1 class items returning.
Thorn will have a quest to obtain it like gjhallarhorn.
Can't wait for September.

Well dang, was going to work on my Tier 12 build that I finally have the pieces for and they're doing maintenance again. Seems like we're getting this every couple of weeks now.
It seems all my T12 stuff is Iron Banner stuff. So i'm rocking All IB gear no shader. The leather, green, and silver look really nice all together.
What is this tier 12??
it's possible to get max cooldown (tier 5) on two of the stats. Tier 12 is gear that lets you get Tier 5, Tier 5, Tier 2 for intellect, discipline, and strength
From what I understand, with the increase in LL up to 335 you can get items that can reach 12 of the Intellect, Discipline, Strength rather than the 10 of previous.

Couple of pieces on my titan were iron banner drops, but I had to buy my gauntlets from 'ol Shaxx. It's as ugly as a set of gear can look, but it's my first Tier 12 build!

I use the Ishtar Commander app on my phone. If you download it you can go to settings and turn on hidden stats. It will pull up a bronze, silver, and gold medal for each of your items. While you try to get all gold, some silver and gold combos can actually pull off a T12.

I had no idea about the tier thing. That's cool.
Real useful feature for Chrome's Destiny Item Manager. Click the bar graph at the top right and it'll automatically figure out which loadouts will get you the closest to tier 12

Okay if y'all want to set a time for some point this week, or next I'm down to do Kings Fall. I lack two stupid fragments from the raid, plus, it's fun.
If anyone is willing to show me Vault of Glass or Crota I'm down for that too, but I've only been playing since year two.

When I finally got mine, me beezy and rhino had a bubble bro Titan and 2 warlock sun singers (that would self-resurrect)with swords.
Pop the bubble in the middle and try to get as much dps as possible. Self res, wait for supers, rinse and repeat.
Even after using this strategy we barely made it with 3 seconds left...best feeling ever because at the time, black spindle was at max light level. We ran thru it 10 times at LEAST with just our group. Lord knows how many times I tried with other groups.
TLDR: "git gud"

I'm gonna be honest I thought I was pretty good until I tried this mission. Then I redubbed myself as a noob and had a rage quit.
Comboplatter and I ran that Black Spindle mission several times with no luck. We finally asked the artist formally known as Mid9012 for help. 2 nightstalkers and a hammer titan.
take out the blights
kill ads (use 1 tether here to gen orbs for everyone else)
tether boss
hammers away and whatever dps the hunters could do
rinse
repeat
I believe when we did it still had about 30-40 seconds left still. 1st or 2nd try.
Since it was solar burn (I believe thats what it was at the time, could still be) the hammers ate up the boss, especially with a tether.
(got the ship on that run, will be forever grateful to Mid)

Lost to light is quite the challenge. It's all about speed. Can't miss shots and Raze lighter really helps.
The biggest thing on that whole boss fight is the blights have to die fast. If not the enemies get totally overwhelming.
I did it with a fireteam of around 305 light or so when it first came out so you don't have to be just real high light level unless they've bumped it up in the April update.

Black Spindle can be acquired at any point now (the irony of this statement...). Just select the hard mode version of the mission
