Low 290s is probably you best bet... if it was a couple of 310s with someone in the 280s then maybe it could happen. Exotic swords, Stormcaller Warlocks, and Sunbreaker or Defender Titans can help a lot with adds.

Quick rundown for those trying for the first time tonight - you do the mission as normal until you get to the big room that has the three locks. You go past that room to the back area where the Taniks strike and after you get up into the Ketch you have 10 minutes to clear the whole ship of Taken, plus beat a little boss at the end. It's no walk in the park and still probably one of the harder things to do in Destiny.

I stayed up way too late last night to get my titan to 40 specifically for the next Black Spindle daily, and here we are. I will be on between 830 and 930 I hope and I would like to get at least 1.
