I ran the black spindle daily 1 time just now and it reminded me how much I absolutely HATE that mission. I HATE it. It makes me HATE playing Destiny. I have never come closer to snapping a controller in half than when playing this mission the 2 previous times it came up.
I'm on right now if anyone wants to go for the Black Spindle.

lol that mission IS a ***** man. Glad we got my buddy Julio and Mid his black spindle though. I too just needed a reminder of how much I hate it.
I got my black spindle and the ship! 
Got flawless tonight. I really hate that map, but it only took me two cards to get it. As a shot gun player who likes to get dirty and can't really snipe for ****, I felt I was mainly playing support but at least it got done.
Got the adept handcannon at 314 so I guess I'm going to infuse that into something else and then I also got a 310 Hereafter which I will probably infuse into something else too.

Will anybody be around this evening for a FULL HM run (I think we are all high enough now for Oryx), or a normal run with the alts?
As stated, my only goal this week is to knock out Oryx on HM.

We cleared Oryx on normal. Ain't no one wanted to fool around with hard mode last night lol
I am definitely down for a full hard mode run tonight. Especially now that I have black spindle!

I can do it. I have beaten it using No Knights before. I'd love to do it as my Warlock, but can play any character -- all are around 314-316.

If it takes 314 or so to beat Oryx on HM It will definitely be awhile before I'm ready. Even with the stuff I got from ToO I'm not even 310 on any character.

After rage quiting my latest black spindle effort last night I'm resolved to never do that bull**** again.

The first two runs were not so good for us, but we did it on the 3rd. The first run mid had a mask on so was accidentally only 280. That obviously didn't help. The second run I think we all got tunnel vision on the boss and the adds got out of control.
The final run we killed blights and adds ASAP and it was actually fairly straightforward. The adds getting out of control and the ensuing chaos is why that mission is a pain in the ass, but if you control them then its not too bad.
Still, can't imagine doing that solo. That's just nuts.
I need to do the exotic sword mission tonight, so if anyone would like to join me we can set a time. Otherwise I'll grab a random or two off of reddit.
