I've hard-raided up to Oryx. I could help if you guys need someone.

I have two hard raid checkpoints for Oryx and have beaten it once. I know that strategy and can show the basics.. The hardest part is the runner for sure.

Okay -- so I found a great group with an old friend of Dwit and myself (Triz) and we developed a great plan and just dominated Oryx. That said -- I can teach you guys the methods. It is really not too bad. There are few things you need. For instance -- I would say you want:

2 Titans with Blessings of Light
2 Hunters with Tether/Invis Smoke
4 people with Touch of Malice (the more the better)
1 very good runner.

Everyone but the runner likely needs to be about 311 light as well at a minimum to make it easier. The enemies in the area are 320 and you will see yellow numbers if you are not at least 311.

I doubt many of us are high enough level that we could complete the whole thing, so the purpose in mind is to get as far as we can and hope for some high-level gear drops before the weekly reset tomorrow.

A tip on the sisters is to shoot the sisters from the middle rather than the back of the room. Makes it easier to transition to the platforms right after the blinding light that kills ya.

You should increase in light as the raid goes on from drops and by then.. if you are 308 or higher you can handle the sisters. Oryx is the only really tough fight that basically requires tons and tons of dps constantly.. 320 Ogres x4 plus Oryx himself... Just brutal amounts of DPS required.

That fight is really only about the DPS.

I still say that Atheon/Gatekeeper is still the most mechanically interesting fight in the game. Golgoroth had potential to be next if you had to keep passing the gaze, but with the single...it becomes again a mere matter of not dying and DPS.
