And why am I doing that? Anyone who spends any time here knows you. And again...irony on multiple counts. The CARDINALS are accusing someone else of cheating...a team they illegally stole information from.

Your team engaged in CRIMINAL activity to cheat. That's proven. This, re: the Astros, is an ALLEGATION that's disputed.

Predicting is not hoping. Predictions are based on logic, not emotion. The night of Game 7 I was posting trying to get reactions during the game, yes. Clearly it worked.

My favorite part of the Mike Fiers experience was when he melted down in 2017, threw at someone's head after he hit a HR off him, got yanked from the game and cut from the playoff roster as a result, got a WS ring and a full playoff share anyway, and then snitched on the team two years later for a minor sign stealing offense that the Red Sox got fined for.

Preach that. Fiers calling the Astros out at this point is the definition of hypocrisy. If you think they cheated, why did you accept the ring and money? Why didn't you take a stand back then?

Haha, I know! I'm just saying, cheating or not, this doesn't change the day-to-day in my life nor my love of the Astros.

I think it's silly for other fans to be saying the things they are because they would be right there with us if it was their team the articles are about.

These cheating and conspiracies in the age of data we are in are humerus to me. Not saying we didn't steal signs nor anybody does, but you can pull every single split of statistics for every single player for home vs road. What was their strike out rate, obp, avg, etc. Yet the only stats we have on this are their season k and walk rates? Which completely negates changing of players or approach. Plus half of those are obviously on the road.
Same goes for the whole ball is different for playoffs debate. You can track the launch angle, velocity, and projected distance for every ball in play. Doesn't take a lot of effort to see if that number changed in the playoffs.

How would I feel if this was my favorite team?
How would I feel if this was my most hated rival?
How would I feel if this was some middling team I don't care about like the Royals or Brewers?

It's the last one that probably matters the both, most comments are the first two.
