Great news. I remember somebody in the 90s talking about our lack of a federal court here. This has been in the works for a long time.

This is awesome. Because when you get called for Federal Court, you get called for a week!

I don't understand how any of them stay in business. Even thought the food is great when they get it right.

I once saw a group of guys break the moon roof of their truck with a pick axe to get into their locked truck there. Funniest and scariest thing I've seen.

Of all the sketchy Popeye's with terrible service in this town, the one on Boonville & 6 was the sketchiest and had the worst service.

Agree completely. I'm better off not eating fried chicken these days, but it's a shame that an old favorite can't be trusted around here for cleanliness and good service. You would think that corporate big shots would find some highly capable Aggie business people to take one local franchise and do it the right way.

To clarify, the convenience store is also closed. Shelves are empty, pumps are off, bagged ice freezers gone, dark inside.

As a former Fort Worthian who has stuffed myself sick at the OG location in Roanoke too many times, Babe's is the bomb and would kill it in B/CS. Don't need all the fancy other mains, just CFS, fried chicken, mashed taters, gravy, corn & biscuits. Let's make it happen!!

There a place similar to Babes next to the CS Hilton. Roosters Country Dinner House. It was not near as good as Babe's and didn't last very long. Closed about 13 years ago.

We went in and placed an order to go. I know they're currently working on getting a menu for the drive-through.

They have quite a few things on the menu. I ordered a margarita pizza and my husband ordered lasagna. We shall see! I thought about taking photos of the menu, but since we were standing at the counter, I didn't

We were there for lunch after church. I had the lasagna and a side salad. Friends had a Margherita pizza and a meat pizza (forgot the specific name). Pizzas are available in 10", 12", and 14". Everything was good. Prices are reasonable ($15 lasagna, $5 side salad). The bar is not yet up and running but their coffees are. They have affogato. I know they serve breakfast but didn't see that menu.

It wasn't as thick as it looks in the photo. It wasn't crunchy BUT we also did take it to go and I took a shower when I got home, so it was a good 20 minutes of sitting before I ate it.
