I believe this.
It's rare that there isn't a line outside after 5pm. Even during the summer.
It's not the greatest Mexican food but it's good enough and the ambiance is pretty good.

And they'd be right. It's only 98,000 square feet, which is smaller than Pearland and Katy.

I maintain this is one of the most underrated restaurants in the area.
I would look at one of the pad sites at Jones Crossing or near the Walmart off Villa Maria.

Something is going in the former Voodoo Brewery spot soon. The construction company that is doing the remodel work posted this on Facebook. No indication what the restaurant will be.
This has been working its way through Congress for a while, but a bill was passed on Monday that will bring a new federal courthouse to College Station. This is big for any Brazos and surrounding county residents that have had to drive to Houston for federal court jury duty. There have also been studies about the economic impact from federal courthouses (lawyers and parties in town for trials, jurors in town for service) and it isn't insignificant.
