Can agree on the phone data, I have several friends that do forensics involving phones. A warrant to search a phone itself is a 3hr operation. With exigent circumstances, the data can be had from the phone companies in under 12hrs.

Maybe, we might find out that the dad didn't do a good job here, but as many of us with children can attest to, at a certain point your children are vulnerable to outside influences.

I pray often that my kids stay on the right path. Not right IMO to condemn the dad yet until we find out more about the situation.


As a dad of 5, I completely agree. Parents have a very short window to influence their children and lots of competition (unless the outside world matches your family principles). And, each person is wired how he/she is wired to a certain extent as well. Passing blame to this dad is reckless!

On another note, imagine being in his shoes as those images came out yesterday. I pray for this dad. Sounds like he took his burden to God and his pastor. How difficult it must have been to answer that knock on the door last night. My heart and my prayers go out for him.
