What's the explanation for doing this less than a week after the assassination? It was a grass patch before which makes me think any of Charlie's remaining blood could be easily cleaned up. Maybe they will put a statue there eventually, and that would be a nice tribute, but the timing of putting concrete over a grass patch is very bizarre to me and it is going to fuel whatever conspiracy theories are out there now. I have no doubt the physical inspection/evidence gathering is long since done at this point, but this is just a visually odd thing.

Could be levels of charges if it's determined more were involved. Some knew it was coming and failed to report it, while others could have helped in planning or recon.

Thank you, this makes sense actually. Would be a weird action, but, there are weird people out there. Same general reason A&M somewhat "hid" bonfire logs in a remote part of campus after the site was cleared.

FWIW, I read somewhere they are putting in a type of memorial. Not sure what, but that is what was stated. My guess is they collected all the forensic evidence they needed such as bullet / bullet fragments, etc. and were cleared to release the scene.

A watermelon isn't close to being remotely similar to a human body.

We also do not know the ammunition that he used. Nor do we specifically know what the damage was other than it was horrifically spewing blood.

When deer hunting, I have had some shots that passed through without expansion so it definitely does happen.

Do you know anything about guns and ammo? Maybe sit the conspiracy patsy theory out this time since I'm sure if you've ever hunted or shot much you'd know bodies don't explode when hit by a 30-06.

The guy in the video is shooting at a watermelon that has a hard shell with soft substance. So yeah the watermelon is going to explode. That's science 101. Charlie was shot in the neck witch is a soft shell with even more soft substance. Now... if Charlie was shot in the head, the head might have explode. Again hard shell with soft substance. Also, how far back was the guy shooting in the video. 25 yards, 50 yards, 100 yards 200 yards. This also matters based on ballistics, range, velocity, energy and trajectory.

I understand this is controversial as to whether Charlie was wearing a slimmed down version of a metal chest plate.

Ba deflection, deformation of the bullet entering from the left side of his adam's apple and the carotid gush on that side AND the movement of the his T-shirt AND the apparent absence of an exit wound?

Ballistics and physics indicate there was a plate defection/deformation.

but did you watch the whole vid? It isn't just a watermelon, (which means nothing in this scenario)

The pork shoulder is more like the shot Charlie took.


The location of that shot from 3006 does not match the video of the shooting that I saw. no way!

However the vid of the shooting I saw has many questionable issues. But my son who is highly experienced in this stuff say that the video that I am seeing is different than the one he saw.

The shots in that video are likely 25-50 yards, tops. That would also impact the energy of the round. 150 yards still isn't far, but it changes it quite a bit compared to 25 yards.
