I guess it depends on if the guy they have on camera is actually the guy. If not, then I think the real guy is gone. I imagine they will catch the photographed guy in a matter of time. But the fact that he doesn't appear to be carrying a rifle in those pictures gives me doubt.

I fear the local PD wasting an hour on that bald geezer might have given the real guy the time he needed to escape.

Though this administration has gone out of its way to shutdown leaks…

But it certainly can't be ruled out that they are really both going there to kick the investigation in the pants…

IN MY OPINION (did I do that right?), though, it seems odd to me that you would send both guys…

If there wasn't a major development, you can send a message with just Bongino…

Also, why make so much hoopla about postponing the presser and saying the reason was due to "rapid developments"?

Again, can't rule anything out…just seems like a lot of coincidences that, IN MY OPINION AND IN THE OPINION OF MORE THAN ONE PERSON ON FOXNEWS, point to something more important being said/revealed at the next presser…

I read somewhere that Charlie's remains would be transported on AF2 back to Arizona. VP Vance and wife are also changing plans to be with Erika Kirk and the family.

May be why AF2 is en route.

Did they say if those photos was him arriving or leaving the scene? If arriving, one could speculate he left the rifle on the roof the night or days leading up to the event as to not bring attention to him until he carried out the hit

My pure speculation is that they found the guy deceased. Patel and Bongino know that the conspiracy theories will go wild. They want to be there to say "we have personally seen the body and he is confirmed to be the shooter". Just trying to get ahead of it.

Some think they may have been from another day…or at least earlier in the day…

There are several scenarios where the guy pictured may or may not be carrying a rifle, two of which are:

- He planted / hid the rifle on the roof / in a few days ago, and possibly at night, to avoid suspicion on the day of the shooting.

- An accomplice delivered the rifle to one of the points mentioned above.

If it's just to dog n' pony with Patel and Bongino, the administration is going to get hammered for that, especially since bringing VIPs into the area is going to pull away resources that could be investigating…
