And of course the shooter doesn't fit the demographics to be the boogeyman and so now the deflection and conspiracy theories start up again.

It's almost like we should be blaming the shooter rather than each other.

thousands of leftists celebrating online, happy to watch close up videos of the fountain of blood gushing out of Charlie Kirk's neck as life left his body is my main concern.

There's somewhere around 350 million people in this country. When I say the extremists are not the norm, I mean it. You're complaining about thousands and somehow think it's okay to lump another 150 million or so people in with them.

You are one of the worst posters on this forum. Just terrible. You derail like nobody I've ever seen. It's always about you, whining about how posters address you. Self-centered would be the understatement of the century. What the hell is wrong with you?

I'm sorry, but you're telling me the group who was screaming civil war and the left is a bunch of murders etc. is having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that the murder was likely very right wing. Maybe, the reaction by both Donald Trump (great leadership by the way) and right wing echo chambers has gone too far.

Americans should be looking to eliminate politic violence not escalate it - even in the wake of a political figure being murdered

What evidence do you have that he is likely very right wing?

I 100% disagree. Someone very right wouldn't hate Kirk.

Jesus Christ, y'all have really lost the plot. I mean right wing circles refuse to acknowledge the political murder by a MAGA person in Minnesota. Have celebrated the pickup driver who had a picture of Joe Biden tied up on the back of his truck. Have made hilarious jokes about the guy who beat Paul Pelosi with a hammer. And this is just something the left caused? This is not just a right wing problem, but the inability to accept that maybe we are part of the problem is causing the political and democratic decline of this country.

I think it's time that people accept the fact (on both sides of the political spectrum) that we've been radicalized by the internet and our own information bubbles. This board is a perfect example of this complete untethering from the truth and desire to believe whatever politically divides this country the most. Wake up. I hope "the terminally online right" takes this opportunity to reflect on just how out of control the need to believe whatever pushes us to "civil war". Go outside. America is a wonderful place with wonderful people of all political persuasions. Or sit on the internet and Fox News circlejerking about the civil war you're ready to fight - I'm sure that will make your life better.

I'm going to go out on a limb here. IMO he's definitely a radicalized leftist probably from the internet, but I would bet that there's a sexual connection and some girl or guy that pushed him towards this by encouraging him and telling him how bad of a guy CK was. I would also bet he's never had the normal HS/college age guy experience with the sex and that made him vulnerable for manipulation.

So if you don't have sex in college you're more likely to be radicalized. That's funny.

Good catch, that was supposed to read "opposite/same sex". Corrected.

Common sense is not strong with this one.

EVEN if he is a registered Republican... That means NOTHING.

Antifa slogans are not uttered by Republicans to murder people. The only people who write those things are... radical leftists.

One piece of evidence =/= whole story.

Get your head out of the sand, or up left wing wackos and do a little soul searching. It will come to you if you actually research and comprehend what is the ACTUAL truth.

I retract my statement about the dad.

While he did raise a POS, it may not be his fault. I wonder what radicalized his ass.

you send your kids off to college and you never know what sort of indoctrination they're being exposed to or what degenerate rabbit holes they find themselves going down on the internet.

the thousands of democrats celebrating Kirk's assassination on social media don't even know why they hate him as they've taken a sentence from one of his thousands speeches out of context and can't comprehend that killing for opinions you don't like is bad. maybe this kid became really passionate about abortion or trans rights or Hamas.. or maybe it's just that he helped Trump get elected. I'm really curious to know.

I have two young sons, 3 & 5, and I pray daily for them and their strength navigating this world as they grow up. All we can do as parents is model good morals, keep them involved in church, and pray over them every day that the morals and values instilled in them are strong enough to combat the evil and wickedness they will be exposed to.

I blame the shooter. I also blame everyone who celebrated this. I hope they all get fired. Based on some I saw they probably don't have jobs so they don't care.

I also blame every person on the left that calls normal conservatives nazi and fascist. This blood is on their hands as well and I will not forget or forgive them. I don't doubt there are some crazies on the right, but they are far outnumbered by the crazies on the left as well as the more normal leftists who sit back and cheer it all on. I wonder how these people would feel if they started getting knocked off and people cheered on their deaths?

It's not just the killings like this that start civil wars, but rather the reaction to them that will determine if things get worse or not.

We're not falling for the bs from the left.

People have GOT to stop thinking in this mindset of far left or far right. Think of it as more of a venn diagram. In the middle of that is a bunch of impressionable nut jobs that don't play by anyone's little political rules. Now, us people on the right circle and left circle people have a responsibility to do...something with these people. The left preys on them. Radicalizes them. They pull them their direction. On the right, we aren't doing that, we push them away. This makes it very easy for the left to kind of wash their hands of it. From the left they end up feeling used but ultimately lied to and from the right they feel abandoned or vilified. Crazy is in the middle!

We've had a Dem presidential candidate call conservative Christians "deplorables" and mock us for "clinging to our Bibles and our guns". Biden called MAGA supporters terrorists. I've lost count of the number of Dem US senators and reps that have called for violence when the vote didn't go their way. Harris openly cheered BLM rioting and paid to bond out the terrorists burning down cities. Democrats are overwhelmingly supportive of Palestinians. Democrats are violent, from top to bottom. It's impossible to argue that they aren't. Extremism IS the norm for liberals. A trans terrorist kills kids in school while praying and Democrats attack prayer and blame guns instead of their own hateful rhetoric towards Christians.

Liberals need to just STFU if you can't call out your own. Your "we all need to come together" BS after every one of these events is transparent and feeble. I'm tired of hearing that MAGA is to blame for MAGA getting murdered. It's ludicrous. I'm tired of people here illegally and people that should have been in jail for life killing white people. I'm tired of white people being prosecuted with more vigor that the criminals for simply protecting themselves and others from violence. Democrats and Liberals are to blame.

WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH

Something that every liberal needs to understand - YOU RADICALISED US. You are the reason Trump is POTUS. Liberals are why there is a massive swell of Nationalism and Populism around the globe. Liberalism is to blame.

No. What MAGA person in Minnesota committed 'political murder?' Please provide some details, I don't want to get this response wrong.

Paul Pelosi's assailant was in no way 'right wing.' He was at the time an illegal alien who had fried his brain on drugs in drug-fueled San Fran. I blame Pelosi/Newsom's pals for that one.

I haven't watched Fox News for more than 30 minutes in a week in over 15 years.

Democrats are an enemy of the republic, full stop. The crime, suffering, and death caused by the Biden Administration is being halted, but it is something we must be vigilant to continue to fight back against.

Weak ass chin. Perfect for taking a punch.

It's sad, bordering on pathetic, for how easy it is for a weak ass chin like this little b*tch to snuff someone with the right weapon without even having to be near them. Guns are a great equalizer, even for the worst of reasons.
