God forbid us to think like this, but if any of us had done this, we'd be probably be several states away. Probably somewhere in the upper northwest or east coast. They probably had access to a vehicle and got to that vehicle on foot and were gone. Hopefully if they know a name, plate recognition software of them and known associates is zeroing in on where they may have headed.

Kohberger did that and didn't escape justice.

Thats because he was certifiably ******ed and left a ****ing sheath at the scene of the crime

Kind of like leaving the rifle with likely DNA evidence you used to assassinate a major public figure near the crime scene?

I like this idea...1M dollars dead or alive, increasing by increments of 100,000 daily.

If we can afford to send Ukraine 200 billion or whatever we can definitely afford a lot more than a 100K reward to locate this ******* that assassinated a real American hero.

offer bitcoin as a reward and see what happens

As long as it's not mined here in Aggieland I have no problem with it.

Just thought...maybe tossed onto the roof before accessing building?

I mean obviously possible to do. But don't think it'd be likely. Unless they had a way to do it carefully.

Don't see how throwing a rifle up on a roof wouldn't cause it to lose zero.

Installed the scope on after he was on the roof maybe. They found a screwdriver or some tools up there too I heard

I've never planned anything like this so don't know if there are other ways to make sure it's sighted in. But I've never installed a scope, went to the range, and it be remotely close to sighted in.

Don't know that much about it either. Could you sight a scope at a range, take it off the gun, reinstall it and it still be sighted in?

Not a guarantee, but yes

It was almost no trick at all, he saw, to turn vice into virtue and slander into truth, impotence into abstinence, arrogance into humility, plunder into philanthropy, thievery into honor, blasphemy into wisdom, brutality into patriotism, and sadism into justice. Anybody could do it; it required no brains at all. It merely required no character.”

Same person with the SoundCloud upload titled Charlie Kirk dead at 31?

So for those of us playing at home! Here is a properly mounted scope on a rifle with 1000+ rounds put through it.

This is the rifle from the scene

Sorry for the bad pic and orientation. I am not good with this posting stuff. There is no way that gun was accurate. Again, I am not saying conspiracy, but there is something amiss here.

Did he have a rifle when he jumped off the roof?

Doesn't look like it. Not under his clothes based on how he landed, and it doesn't look like there's anything large enough in his hands.

Edit: Grainy video can sometimes not pick up thin/small items. Especially if they are a pixel refresh configuration rather than a full image stream (that went really nerdy, sorry)

I do not think he had a rifle on him either. His running motion does not look like it. He did not have time to break it down and stuff it someplace on him. His pack is not big enough to hold a 22" barrel and action, even if he did take it off the stock.

That coupled with the just horrific scope mounting job gives me some serious doubts about this whole thing.

I could imagine a scenario where if he is carrying the rifle when he jumps, the scope slips in the rings to be in the condition that it is in when photographed, but if it was loose enough for that it would have never held a zero from the last shot fired in it. Assuming he had shot the rifle before for practice.

Just odd all the way around. I am not in the least a conspiracy guy, but this is odd.

I avoid conspiracy in general, just because it's an easy default for knowledge gaps. Helps put a pretty bow on things rather than having to say "we may never know". Not having closure is tough.
Deep state conspiracy/professional hit doesn't align here. Multiple leftist people working together, definitely possible. You have a majorly conservative administration overseeing the investigation of the assassination of one of the most prominent conservative voices in one of the most conservative areas of the country, so the chances of a cover up are practically 0. A hit doesn't make sense on a strategic level. It's not like it was pre-election, and while he has a following, there's not some massive increased swelling that made him enough of a new threat to take out. The backlash from the assassination had no scenario where it came to the benefit of the left; anyone with enough money to have a professional hit, is also smart enough to know the political fallout.

I'm going with the simplest explanation in my mind on what we've seen, a lone antifa type:

The tmz vid shows him walking with stiff leg and arm close to body toward the event. Gun hidden in his pants and shirt.

He gets to the location and some way gets the gun up to the roof. All we have are stills. Could have the gun in his pants still in some way; or could have tossed the gun to the roof. Either way it's up there.

He gets in position and shoots Kirk.

Runs across the building, drops off the side in a grainy video with rifle and backpack, runs across a grassy area then slows to a fast walk until he gets to the 4 lane road.

Gets across road, ditches gun wrapped in towel in a wooded area. And is seen in another tmz video from the same house camera running off in the opposite direction away from the event site.

Remember that's a gun that he dropped from a building. Mount failure and scope pushed back from impact with ground.

Hitting someone in the neck from 150ish yards with a scoped rifle supports that perhaps it wasn't very accurate/sighted in

Pretty sure the Intelligence community knows this thing pulled the trigger. They're looking for operational G2. No way this is a single thing mission. That weapon was in the building days before the execution.

I agree, but I do not see him carrying a rifle in the video of him running across the roof. I have regrettably fallen out of a tree before with a scoped gun with the butt hitting the ground. The scope was off, but it had not noticeably shifted in the rings like that.

Again though, maybe all the holes in the swiss cheese lined up and it happened just as described, more than likely it did, I think we have to agree that the rifle pictured isn't hitting where it was aimed.

If they want to catch him, you let him think he is two steps ahead. If he isn't, and you have a pretty good idea of a psych evaluation on what he would do if cornered, you wait and pick him up when he can't 86 himself before you capture him.

I think everybody wants him alive.

Anybody else disappointed that neither Patel nor Bongino said anything at the presser? I'm very underwhelmed and really expected a lot more badassery from this regime. Even if it was just rhetoric. Not strong leadership.

Respectfully, then you have no clue about properly torquing a scope into its rings and onto its mount.

If they knew his name, they wouldn't announce it. They'd want to catch him alive, try to prevent evidence being destroyed. Plus, round up anybody else that helped him. (I think like 99% of the time, it will be lone gunman with anger issues)

If they know who it is for a few days and can't find him? That's when they would announce his name.
