I don't know why people don't KNOW this is not uncommon. HS & College kids generally explore various ideologies that are different from the ones they were raised with. In 2025, the percentage of kids who have "flipped" their commitment from conservative to liberal is not small. Which is why the work and target audience Charlie was getting after was so critically important.

The President can use the NG to protect federal buildings as was done in California.
The President has full legal authority, under laws passed by Congress, to take federal control of the police in DC and use the NG for law enforcement.
If the governor of a state asks the President for help and approves using the NG, then the President has the power to do so.

Discord is a communication platform, early focus was video game communities and out of game communication. Similar to a set of forums but inline discussion not threads. It also allows for voice communication and screen streaming.

Many media products now use it beyond the video game industry. Books, Authors, Movies, etc.

Not that I am aware of. Lots of speculation on Twitter but no hard evidence. Most of the evidence seems he was left wing radical and I personally believe that at this point

Except you need a link to the specific channel to be able join. They can be private and there isn't a public directory.

Most people use it to video/audio chat with their friends when gaming but I've seen discussions moving off of reddit to discord over the years.

Its a site for gamers and alike to post comments, videos, pics and because you have to be invited into the rooms. Discord allows a lot of comments and videos to be posted without the worry of being banned. Just like anything else the left uses it for their circle jerk of hated for anything conservative

I haven't seen anything confirm which discords he was a part of, there are definitely discord groups for every walk of life and most interests. You can also create your own discord for free and invite people, these groups can be created/managed by formal organizations or just a group of friends as it is a freemium model where base functions are free.

I would guess that the communication with his friend was either through Direct Messages or on a private/personal/friend group discord not a public/organization led discord.
