Anyone that knew his plans prior to the shooting and did nothing to stop it should also be prosecuted even if they didn't assist in any way.

So, for those not watching at home, apparently a minister who is involved with/friends with a US marshal talked to him about it, who then somehow got the father involved, and the father/son drove to a police station then to turn him in.

They think they have the right guy but do not seem to know/ready to confirm fully, from his tone. Surprised the geofencing/data/DNA etc. at this point wouldn't have highly confirmed who they want.

People vastly, vastly overestimate how quickly DNA can be done.

Same for phone data. Getting the subpoenas to pull the data from the companies doesn't happen overnight.

The amount of times they requested for anyone with any information to call into their tip line, left me with not a lot of confidence they are very close to solving this. The information that was presented in the press conference that was delayed for 5 hours because of "breaking developments" was posted on TexAgs and X this afternoon. I am not being critical of Kash, the FBI, or local and state law enforcement, I was simply stating my feeling that I do not have a lot of confidence that this investigation is close at all to identifying the suspect and it will likely have to be someone who knows him that turns him in.


It's been less than 36 hours. They'll get him soon.
