Baseball Thoughts: Nice to win while the Ags learn

The Aggie offense scuffled for most of this weekend's three-game series with Penn, but fortunately, the pitching staff was suffocating in another sweep at Blue Bell Park. For Michael Earley's club, there are lessons to be learned, but at least they're learning while winning.

I believe Richard used the old “you either win or you learn” line in one of his game accounts during Texas A&M’s weekend sweep of the Pennsylvania Quakers, so I’ll slightly modify that statement to “it’s nice to win while you learn.”

That’s exactly what happened for Michael Earley’s Aggies in the second week of the 2026 season. They, most importantly, won, and hopefully, they’re beginning to learn along the way.
