Thats a nice pull. Vision of Confluence with the new upgrades after HoW will be a nice gun!

You may want to run Crota Normal as well for the special and heavy drops. (Only primaries drop on Hard...they are more situationally good primaries).

Black Hammer Sniper. Hunger of Crota Rocket Launcher. Being the top two.

Lets do some Raiding this week!

I would love to do HM VoG again and would love to run Crota. Probably can't do hard though at only 30 on that character though I might get 31 now with the amount of shards I got last night.

At 30 you can just be a bubble distraction or jump up and down in the ogre room for distraction.

IMO, hard is not all that necessary to run as the primaries are only situationally good. Fang, the arc scout rifle, probably being the best in class. Word of Crota (HC) is good as it is a much better void primary than Atheon's epilogue. The pulse rifle you can get by being carried through the lamp section, and the auto rifle you can get from cheesing the bridge.

In other words, I think the "must have" weapons from Crota are the special and heavy weapons that only drop on normal. That and hard can just be a pain.

I agree that Fang is the best primary out of Crota, but the Abyss Defiant (which is apparently allergic to me) is pretty damn great as it is a solar primary and the disorient wizard perk is very nice.

So, prison of elders looks pretty fun. Just a horde mode with a few different objectives.

5 rounds, 3 waves a piece. Different modifiers. Different levels of difficulty. I think there is matchmaking at the lower levels, but not at the higher.

Not sure about how they dole out rewards yet.

Nevermind...we ended up beating it. Send me a message tomorrow and we can get it done for you. With the free legendary gloves from the quest line I can hit 27/28 and start farming for Radiant Shards lol
