I'm surrounded by amazing women in my family and at church, but I could now be convinced that we should repeal the 19th.

The number of insane, overly medicated and therapeuted women is off the charts. A few years ago, a close family friend and her four children were murdered by the husband/father. It broke our hearts in our community and especially for the surviving amazing parents of my friend.

I cannot imagine a group of men wanting that horrible murderer to get off had he survived his gunshot to the head. But we have protesters and sympathetic women supporting a woman who murdered her babies. Sympathy for her soul is one thing, but excusingthis behavior is unconscionable. The double standard is real.

If a father does this, he would 100% get the death penalty and everyone would agree. A woman does this and we have to worry about her delicate senses and psyche. You're an adult. It's your responsibility to take care of your sh.. and not pass trouble to your family. The fact that everyone knows she will get a pass and go to an institution for a few years and then get out out of a failure in our society. You murder children, you should get a quick face to face appointment with the Lord to ask for his forgiveness.

In case anyone missed it last week, the defense expert held up well under cross. He testified that she was in a dreamlike state where she was not conscious of her actions and had no appreciation for what she was actually doing. The prosecution expert is still on the witness stand and they should finish cross today.

It's possible we get closing arguments very soon.

To me it seems like the defense is putting on a strong case for insanity and the prosecutors have floundered a bit. If she ends up winning a verdict in her favor there seems to be actual evidence and testimony to support it.

The social media hype it's annoying and it's sad that this has turned into "defend The Sisterhood" because it really shouldn't be about that.

I think the way women are is good (for that is how God made them). Men have just decided to give up leadership roles in society, politics, in their own household, and women naturally filled that vacuum. Men decided that God wasn't the answer anymore and women stopped understanding what their role in society was because of that.

Partially of her own choosing. She refuses to be evaluated for competency, therefore she stays in. Maybe she wouldn't get out with a competency hearing, but it hasn't come up since she refuses to be evaluated.

I have no doubt that Clancy wants out ASAP. They've made that pretty clear so far with prior testimony.

I'm aware. If it was truly PPP, she's over it now. She'll be out shortly if she's sent to a hospital and not prison. And that's not justice for those poor babies.

The fact that she wants to be a wheelchair marathon "runner" and doesn't want a bullet to the head tells me all I need to know about her.

Saw one where they were saying the "male voice she heard in her head" was her husband's. He was in tech and had the ability I guess. Some of yall would be shocked by just how many women are demonizing this man, when he is the ultimate remaining victim. I cannot imagine the naightmare he walked into.

Several people have reported that they were able to hear the 911 call and that it is so disturbing and sad that they hope it is never released bc people don;t need to be hearing that. Remember, he rolled up onto the scene thinking it was just his wife who had been harmed...only to go inside and witness the hellish aftermath first hand.

The social media narratives aside, the prosecutors are screwing this case up bigly.

They spent a huge chunk of their case-in-chief arguing her suicide attempt wasn't real.

Now their own expert in rebuttal testified under direct exam that he believes her prior attempts were real but that she intentionally underreported her symptoms in a sophisticated way so that she would eventually be successful.

After he eliminated other options to explain her actions, he narrowed it down to two possibilities: Acute psychosis with command hallucinations or a serious suicide attempt with a mindset of taking her kids with her. He thinks the evidence points to the latter.

His basic argument is that she was mentally ill but legally competent and planned this out ahead of time. He thinks she fits the pattern of someone who wanted to commit suicide but wanted to take her kids with her to prevent them from suffering without her - the idea that they would be better off dead than being alive without her. There's also a mindset that someone who wanted to commit suicide would not want their family members to mourn their loss and deal with the pain of the suicide, so they kill those family members to feel better about killing themselves.
