People care more about the feelings of Somali immigrant scammers than they do the lives American children.

Another good point someone made is that Lindsay Clancy is pretty ugly. If she were even remotely attractive, her same defenders would hate her guts.

Thousands of black people rallied around Karmelo Anthony, who stabbed a white kid to death. Now thousands of women are rallying around Lindsay Clancy, who strangled all of her children to death. We have been told for years about the "radicalization" of young white men but it seems that the worst and most psychotic forms of radicalization are happening in pretty much every group but that one.

Self reply:
Quote:

Part of the reason is that white men are the least tribal group on earth. Women are far more likely to see their sex as a kind of tribal group. You never hear about men rallying around a murder suspect because he's a man, as women are doing with Clancy. A lot of men (rightfully) defended Kyle Rittenhouse for example but precisely zero of them defended him because he's a man. That detail never came up. And black people are obviously an order of magnitude more tribal than white westerners generally. So as always the mainstream narrative is the exact inverse of reality.

People like this is who women look for to form opinions. And since so many of these vapid celebrity people are either ******ed or mentally ill themselves, it proliferates.

Ignore all of the evidence, and the admission of the accused herself, this person's therapist said that women dont strangle, so there you go. Case closed.

Imagine being so f'n crazy that your therapist needs a therapist.

Over 1 million abortions in 2025 should tell you how much Americans care about the lives of children.

There is also this.

You were blanket bashing all women the other day...can you at least acknowledge that there are certain exceptions, like this woman here?

Oh I still believe we need to repeal the 19th.

After all of this insanity and seeing how they are easily manipulated I agree.

I don't give a damn how much medication or mentally ill this mother was. She killed her three innocent kids. How far do you go down in a mental slope and kill your kids ? she should be thrown in the slammer and never see the light of day again.

For someone who wasn't trying to kill herself, she got about as close as you can without actually doing it. There's no way she wasn't trying to kill herself.

This has nothing to do with the case in point, but maybe it does a little. The doctors who prescribe things like this typically do not have any idea how to guide a patient on how to ween off them. I have experienced this personally and I know that I am not alone. I think a lot of doctors would agree to that.

I cant imagine the contraindications that were going on in Lindsay's case, but switching up that many drugs in such a short period of time certainly didnt help.

Either way, she murdered her 3 children by strangling them with exercise bands. I dont see how it's anyone's fault but her own.

Psych medicines can be notoriously difficult to wean, especially SSRIs. The withdrawal side effects can be awful, potentially deadly.

Then you have the opposite when SSRIs are mixed with certain other medications, serotonin syndrome. Can cause significant confusion and agitation.

Just learned about this case yesterday. Wife knows all about it and we were chatting during the news segment. The fist thing I noticed was that this took place in Mass.

There is that recent video clip of a group of pro-murderers huddled around some govt. official at a table. They were clapping and cheering as the govt. official signed a document making murder legal.

Why does this case even matter to the people in the state of Mass? They support this action.

We like to laugh and joke about "women and they TikTok" but women seem to be regularly inducing themselves into mass psychosis via social media about one thing or another and this should probably be addressed if we're going to have a functioning society, they seem to have zero psychic immunity to the media format of "vertical short-form video where a woman tells them information" and this is unironically a huge problem

This is the primary societal fallout of the trial. Far more important than what happens with Lindsay Clancy is what we do about the mass psychosis that women are extremely susceptible too. This case just magnified that.

The neighbor that lives directly across the streets looks so much like Lindsay Clancy that I feel sorry for her. Only she is the more attractive version. It's pretty weird as she has to see the resemblance, even if she is the smooth skinned, more pretty version.

The fact that women are automatically siding with the psycho mom doesn't surprise me at all.

These are the women that grew up in the women's empowerment movement wherein they were told from the time they were toddlers that women were equal to men, that they didn't need men, that the patriarchal structure of society is evil and that they have been oppressed for thousands of years. They are taught to "believe all women" regardless of actual hard facts presented to them, because I am woman, hear me roar!. They think that simply because they have the same plumbing that they are somehow sisters in the battle against whatever made up thing they are fighting.

These same women celebrate when politicians sign bills that make it legal to kill a baby as its head is crowing out of the birth canal. They are the women that gleefully feed their kids whatever SSRI's and psychotropic drugs their doctor gives them to keep their kids "calm" instead of letting them be kids. A larger than normal percentage of these women have purple hair and think its normal to convince their little boys that they are actually girls.

Most probably watch The View. Odds are the majority of them are overweight, hate themselves and therefore think everybody should be equally as miserable as they are and really get into those Hallmark movies where the father figure is the evil bad guy and the mom ends up being the hero.

I'd bet that most of them have found one excuse or another to withhold sex from their husbands, if they have one. And are now pissed at their husbands because they have either spent a lot of time at the neighbors house with the hot wife or have gotten deep into golf, fishing, hunting or whatever other hobby they can find that keeps them as far from their miserable wives as possible.

I understand the sentiment, but criminal punishment requires a legally responsible actor. That's why it matters how much cognitive capacity the defendant had at the time of the crime.

If she merely had postpartum depression, then she's a criminal. But if she had postpartum psychosis, then she genuinely didn't understand what she was doing, and thus isn't criminally guilty (but still needs to be institutionalized to protect other people).

Disclaimer: I am neither a lawyer nor a psychologist. Just stating the main issue of the trial as I understand it.

I found a woman who had not heard of Lindsay Clancy and the child murders. It was Mrs. Barber, who rarely watches the news or engages in social media. For the record, she is 66 years old. I gave her the explanation in the mode of an elevator speech and her response was that she did not believe post-partum depression could be an excuse, so I said her attorney is claiming something else called post-partum psychosis. Mrs. Barber is still skeptical, but the point is she is not influenced by female group think. There may be others.

I think the fact that there are over 50% of the jury being women and that it is taking place in Mass. means there is zero chance of getting a conviction, especially if the jury is not being sequestered.

It will be like the OJ verdict.

Women simply aren't held to the same standard as men.

Next hero for women?

Similar story that happened less than 2 weeks ago.

Quote:

Mandan Police were alerted to a report that a mother had stabbed her children on Aug. 6. Upon their arrival, Kailey was found covered in blood and holding a kitchen knife to her throat, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by Valley News Live, KFYR and WDAY Radio.

Kailey allegedly chased the children's father, Cameron, and grandmother with a knife before the fatal attacks, according to the affidavit. Kailey also allegedly pointed a gun at the children's father and told him, "Say goodbye to your kids," in a video recorded on his phone, Valley News Live reported, citing police. He reportedly took the gun away from her after a struggle.

Kailey then attacked her three young children, according to the affidavit from Mandan police. Once authorities arrived, they discovered the bodies of her three children, all of whom had cuts across their necks, inside the home. Colton was transported to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery, while the 3-year-old and 5-month-old were both pronounced dead.

She reportedly made a comment about harming herself before dropping the knife and being taken into custody, according to the affidavit cited by Valley News Live. Kailey said she remembered having the knife in her hands when police arrived, but did not remember what occurred, according to the affidavit. She reportedly told investigators that she put the three children on the bed and believed their throats had been cut before she did so.

Prior to the deadly attacks, Kailey and Cameron were in the process of separating, according to the affidavit cited by Valley News Live. He previously reported that she threatened to harm herself and the children, and Child Protective Services was alerted of those threats. Kailey was previously committed to a mental health facility within the prior 12 to 18 months. At the time of the attack, she was cleared to be with the children and was taking medication.

She was charged with two counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, two counts of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, three counts of aggravated assault and one misdemeanor count of domestic violence, according to online jail records previously viewed by PEOPLE.

Kailey will return to court for a preliminary hearing on Oct. 6. She remains in jail on a $3 million bond.

There already people defending her in the comments with "muh PPD"

Maybe she was a Lindsay Clancey stan who saw how much attention and sympathy she was getting and decided to roll the dice.

Been catching up on this. Every bit of evidence screams to me that she was trying to pull off a murder suicide, couldn't kill herself after having killed her kids, and that the psychosis claim was a post hoc justification.

The psychosis post part in is rare but fairly well documented. It is not mere depression, which is more common but better understood. Like many severe mental illnesses, our understanding of it is limited.

No serious, informed person doesn't believe she is guilty and the sole perpetrator. Even she admits that. The issue is only if she was mentally competent and therefore legally responsible.

My view is that it is possible she was severely mentally disturbed and possibly psychotic given the evidence and testimony I have seen so far. The state has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt she was not per the state law there. She had been undergoing treatment by various mental health professionals and had been seeking help for some time, but as with many issues of this type, it was not reliable or effective.
The real question here is what is proper to do with a perpetrator that commits a terrible act while in a psychotic or deranged mental state that was not voluntarily self induced by narcotics.
I believe we are too lenient in regards to long term institutionalization. I sympathize with their condition but the reality is they are a danger to others snd themselves and unless they serve a long commitment to an institution to prove they are treated and recovered, they should be incarcerated if guilty of a violent act. Prison or mental institution, it should be a long duration .

MouthBQ98 said:

The only evidence or claim of psychosis that I have seen noted in any official record was not made until after she murdered the kids. Not a single one of the various doctors and therapists that have been brought up at this point that she saw as she was doctor shopping noted anything to suggest that this was the case.

Quote:

She had been undergoing treatment by various mental health professionals and had been seeking help for some time, but as with many issues of this type, it was not reliable or effective.

The problem is she wasn't undergoing treatment. She was refusing the drugs she was prescribed and treatment advice from doctors. She didn't give any of the treatments time to even begin to work. If they didn't reduce her anxiety from day 1 she was looking for something else. She was lying about her alcohol and weed gummy usage. She told at least one doctor that she wasn't having suicidal ideation when asked. If she was suffering from psychosis, she did everything in her power to hide it which flies in the face of the claim that she wasn't able to control her actions.

Idk if he "ignored the signs," or whatever, but it seems like there were some there.

Coming in late to this but I had HH with a younger girl friend of mine this week and she told me this case is their OJ. lol.

Women absolutely obsess over the true crime genre. She's a conservative gal and one of the smartest people I know, but she's all in the conspiracy camp on this one that the guy did it. She laid out the case for me and gave me all these suspicious things.

Haven't paid attention so no idea if anything she told is accurate but I'm just laughing at her at this point.

I hate to break this to you, but your friend is an idiot.

There isn't a single person that is actively involved in the case that is claiming anybody other than the mother killed those kids.
